Chris Horne has been Group CEO of Azets since 2021. He joined Azets in 2017 when the firm he managed, Campbell Dallas, joined Azets – a decision he made to ensure the best future for his colelagues and clients.
Chris has more than 20 years' experience in senior leadership roles within accountancy and has won both Young Accountant and Account of the year in Scotland.
He joined Azets in 2002 as a Corporate Finance Associate with Campbell Dallas in Scotland, where he played a key role in its expansion and later served as a Senior Partner for ten years. Following the firm’s acquisition by Azets in 2017, Chris took on several senior leadership roles, including Regional CEO for Scotland and the North of England and Deputy Group CEO, before being appointed to his current role.
Earlier in his career, Chris was a Corporate Finance Director at Baker Tilly, advising owner-managed businesses on finance and strategic planning. He also served as a Director at The Succession Group, gaining experience in financial services and client-focused solutions.
Based in Scotland, Chris enjoys the outdoors and is a dedicated sports fan, combining his passion for business and sport as treasurer of his local rugby club.
